Community Art

Community based arts and culture programs provide opportunities to re-envision one’s environment, explore problem solving from multiple perspectives, and collaborate with diverse partners for equitable community development.

My approach to community engaged art ranges from active participation on local business committees to collaborative performance and public culture building events. As a Citizen Artist, I advocate for increased access to arts and culture, the development of educational, social and environmental resources for youth and families, and working toward creative solutions to community concerns.
