April 2019 Class Offerings:
April 6th - Color Blocking
Inspired by the cut-out techniques and bold colors of Matisse, this workshop will take paper cutting to a new level. We will create layered, dynamic, drawings on top of our paper cut-outs in this workshop.
April 13th - Color Story Collaging
We'll sift through magazines to create personal collages arranged by color. (We have magazines, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well!)
April 20th - Wax Resist
Great for all ages, we'll be melting crayons and then watercoloring to create a dynamic, wax-resist artwork.
April 27th - Watercolor
Inspired by the recent "Super Bloom" and the natural colors around us, we'll be watercoloring in the Community Garden at Art Produce -- getting direct inspiration from the beautiful plants and wildlife right in Art Produce's backyard. (Class will be moved to the Community Room if weather happens.)
