"My art practice is informed by future and ancestry, intellectual inquiry, and justice. For the past decade, I have been concerned with diverse forms of material, mental, and hybrid spaces that tend to point to a world where oppressive systems damage our communities, the environment, and the potential for renewal. Accepting my participation in such systems while navigating unconformity is at the center of my filmmaking. The experimental narratives that result as a product of my background in communications and visual art oscillate between analysis, storytelling, and critique, and constantly seek to re-establish broken links between life forms. Providing a moment for contemplation, deep thought, and emotional exploration guides the intention of my creative process."
