A curated street spectacle of portable sculptures, art bikes, green fashion and performances by Southern California artists with a message about our environment. The PARADE will begin at Art Produce Gallery, 3139 University Avenue, and walk the streets of the North Park community, including University Avenue, North Park Way, Grim Street and Ray Street (North Park for the Arts Ray @ Night), finally concluding back at the gallery at 8:00pm with a reception for the artists and audience.

Workshops ~ Thursday, August 1st and 8th from 5-6pm
During the North Park Farmers Market Join artist David Krimmel in the Art Produce Garden to make vegetable hats and flags for the GREEN ART PARADE. All materials and supplies provided. Then follow in the PARADE on July 13th with your veggie hat or flag as Demeter, the Greek goddess of the harvest, guides the way. www.Krimmelarts.com Participating PARADE Artists: Dia Bassett, Janelle Despot, Suki Berry and Friends, A.
