"For years I have kept a garden plot at the Juniper/Ivy Community Gardens in Bankers Hill. Most gardeners grow vegetables, but I am obsessed with growing flowers; I am in awe that poppies grow in January. My paintings are about my garden – the colors, shapes, and the love I have for the beauty of flowers."
