Arteria
September 1 to October 2, 2011

About the Artist:

Todd Partridge began his professional career in graphic design, working  as a staff artist for a major Southern California newspaper. After completing his under graduate design degree at San Diego State University, he held positions as a designer and art director for several award winning design studios and advertising agencies in the San Diego area. He ultimately ventured out on his own providing design and illustration solutions for a wide variety of clientele.

The second chapter in Todd’s career began as a hobby: designing and building furniture. This passion lead to graduate studies, again at SDSU. Here he earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Furniture Design under the tutelage of Wendy Maruyama. In the years since, he has taught as a college lecturer and has maintained a studio furniture practice.

Chapter three sees Todd owning a building yet another business. The business, Sole Handplanes, is a surf brand that produces and sells bodysurfing products world wide.
