About the Artist:

Zane Alexander S.B. is a composer, performer, and community music organizer living in San Diego. Completing a Certificate of Music Theory at Mesa College while in high school and finishing his degree in Composition at the University of San Diego, Zane's distinct compositional voice has led to his music being hosted by organizations including the Mingei Museum, Project [BLANK], Art Produce, the Athenaeum Art Center, San Diego New Music, San Diego City College, and CalArts. Zane’s work makes experimental music exciting and accessible to both audiences and performers with the aid of creative ensembles, surprising locations, and spontaneous energy.
