Food Saga
By SDSU's Environmental Graphic Design class, Spring '14
Directed by: Christopher McCampbell and Patricia Cué
As an homage to a South Park icon and in an effort to join the many voices that advocate for access to local, quality produce, this installation re-purposes the storefront sign letters from the former grocery store Gala Foods as individual narratives representing how food shapes our lives locally and globally.
The Wire People
By Isabel Halpern (San Diego) and Lux Masaro (Madrid)
The Wire People are a family of human like sculptures made out of all found and trashed electronic cables and waste.
